The Agent 120 has the same last as the Race Pro, but comes with a slightly softer flex and shock absorbing features for a Freeride feel. The boot comes with features like a rubber Zeppa which makes it easier on your heels after those big drops. This boot skis the bowls and trees with the power and quickness you would expect from a high end boot. It fits low to average volume feet very well. Widths A-C should have no problem fitting in. The D width may need a small amount of boot work.

The Inferno Heat is built on the same 98mm last as Tecnica’s high end race boot, but comes in a much friendlier 100 flex. Even with the softer flex the Inferno Heat performs very well due to the narrow last, high end plastic and mono-injected shell. It comes with great features like a shock absorbing boot board that make the cliff drop a little easier to stomp. This is a great ski boot for an intermediate to light weight expert skier who has a narrow to slightly narrower than average foot. The Inferno Heat from Tecnica fills a much needed void as there are few narrow fitting and easy flexing boots available. The Heat boot is more than capable of performing well in all terrain.

The Inferno Blaze is built on the same 98mm last as the Inferno 130 but is designed with more Freeride features such as a shock absorbing boot board, and a shock absorbing rear Velcro spoiler. Its 110 flex is designed for upper level skiers looking for a low volume fit in an easier to use package. This boot will work great for lighter weight high level expert skiers to the intermediate skier looking for a low volume fit. The Inferno Blaze will work great for the low to average instep and the A-C width foot. The guy with the D foot who wants to ski this boot may need a bit of forefoot expansion.

Last season was the first time Tecnica came out with their new Air Shell Technology. This season it appears in more performance oriented boots. Simply pump up the air bladder by using one of the pumps on the back of the boot until your feet feel comfortable and secure. When you want to release the air simply press the other pump to give your foot more space. Along with this feature Tecnica has added the Quick Instep, Cuff Alignment, and Triple Position Cuff Catches to increase value. All these features exist in a boot that would be great even if it were stripped down. The new 100mm last and 100 flex in this Demon boot are a great combination that will allow intermediates and near experts to quickly progress to the next level. Skiers with B-D width feet and all insteps except the absolute largest will fit easily inside.

This boot is made for guys with wide, thick feet. The Phoenix 14 has a lot of volume inside to allow guys that always have boot problems finally find comfort. Typically boots this wide perform poorly and lack important features. But not this one. It has an adjustable 110-100 flex that will provide enough performance for those bigger guys to feel comfortable on all terrain except the gnarliest. In addition to the flex adjustment this Tecnica ski boot has all the features you would expect from a high quality product. Overall the Phoenix 14 HVL is a great ski boot for the guy who normally has to settle for a less than ideal boot. It will fit feet up to an EEE and the highest of insteps.

The Demon 110 from Tecnica falls right into the sweet spot for a huge percentage of our skiers. Tecnica has produced this last by taking the narrower Inferno boot and adding 2mm of volume throughout. This may not sound like a lot, but it is just enough to allow more feet to fit inside, and yet still provide plenty of performance. Tecnica has added great features like the Alu Buckles, Quick Instep, and a 45mm Powerstrap to provide value to an already great fitting boot. The Demon 110 will be great for the intermediate to lower expert who feels comfortable skiing just about all terrain at their resort, just not at full speed. It will fit B-D width feet without an issue, and all insteps expect the absolute highest.

The Bonafide ski boot from Tecnica falls into their new Free Mountain Category. It has very unique features that make the boot very versatile. It comes with an arch grip insert underneath the sole of the boot to make it easier to walk over rocks and ridges. There is also an optional Tech Compatible Sole available to allow the boot to be used with Dynafit touring bindings. If that is not important to you I am sure there are other features that will be. The Bonafide will be great for strong upper intermediates to lower level experts who are looking for a boot capable of pushing it as hard as they do. It will provide a great option for the skier who wants a boot that can be used for touring and also in the resort. It is built on a performance orientated 98mm last that works great for the narrow to average width foot.

The Inferno 130 from Tecnica offers tons of performance to demanding skiers. Tecnica has created an all new last and stance to maximize speed and stay within FIS regulations. The Inferno also has a built in Carbon Steel Power Chassis that extends from toe to heel. The Power Chassis results in more torsional rigidity which produces a more powerful and efficient ski boot. This new boot from Tecnica is designed for power and it certainly skis that way. Our Copper manager noted this was one of the best performing boots he skied on in his test. The low volume 98mm last works great for low to average volume feet.

The Demon 130 is an all new ski boot for 2011/12. Tecnica has taken the very successful last of the Inferno boots and added 2mm of width throughout to produce a high performance 100mm last. They have even included the Carbon Steel Chassis to the Demon 130. This high end performance oriented feature is typically only found in race boots in order to increase the boot’s torsional rigidity to provide more power and efficiency with each turn. The Demon 130 will be a great boot for the all mountain expert skier who still wants lots of performance, but does not want to go into a narrower 98mm last. This boot will work great for guys with a B-D width foot. The expert skier with an E foot who still wants lots of performance will fit inside with a bit of boot work. Overall a great boot with lots of great features.

Here’s a boot for expert skiers get excited about!!
Even though many AT boots have become more performance orientated they still don’t ski as well as alpine boots. The Bodacious is the first 98mm boot that provides near race boot performance with AT hike ability. It is made out of a very lightweight Triax plastic that makes it easy on the climb up, and a stiff 130 flex with a narrow 98mm last to provide performance on the way down. It does not have a hike mode, but that device would only take away from downhill performance and only make skinning slightly easier. The Bodacious from Tecnica is for the expert skier who tours in alpine boots since AT boots don’t provide the necessary performance. Finally a boot that provides confidence while standing on top of huge exposure.
