The Surefoot RS 110 SC comes with the Surefoot Contoura X2 Custom Liner and requires the use of proper fitting Custom Ski Orthotics. The SC stands for short cuff. This boot will fill a much needed void for many skiers. The short cuff enables this boot to work great for high level expert women skiers, shorter men, and even junior racers who are not quite ready for the taller version. The shorter cuff will make it easier on the calf and allow many shorter skiers to properly flex into the boot. The stance of the RS 110 is derived from the extremely successful WC racing boot the RL 2006. This neutral, balanced stance makes it easier for skiers to stay centered and powerful while skiing.
This custom ski boot must be made at a Surefoot store. On the checkout page, you will find a section that gives you the option of making an appointment. If you are unsure when you can get in for a fitting, an appointment can be made at a later date by calling the store. On the day of your scheduled fitting, simply show up at the store and your requested products and one of our boot techs will be waiting for you.
This women’s ski boot is measured in mondo point sizing. The easiest way to determine your size is to look at the chart below. Locate your regular shoe size and look down to determine your boot size.
Mondo size can be converted to US women’s sizes fairly easily. To translate that to a US women’s size, add the 2 and 3 together to get 5. Then place the .5 behind it. The result is a 5.5. The 5.5 is actually a men’s size since mondo translates directly to men’s sizing, in order to translate to a woman’s, 1 full size must be added. Therefore a woman’s 6.5 is relatively a 23.5 mondo size. We also need to remember that skiers typically wear a ski boot that is one size smaller than their regular shoe. That means a women with a 7.5 shoe will typically wear a 23.5 ski boot.

Mondo size can be translated to US sizing fairly easily. Let’s use 27.5 for example. Add the first 2 numbers together and get a 9, then move the .5 behind the 9. Therefore a size 27.5 is relatively a 9.5. It does get a bit more confusing because skiers typically wear a ski boot that is 1 size smaller than their regular shoes. So a person who skis in a 27.5 boot will typically wear a 10 or 10.5 shoe. This simply conversion works almost all the time. It is extremely rare a person will wear the same size ski boot as regular shoe.
