The Womens Hot Rod 80 uses the same 101mm last as the Sportmachine series. It also incorporates the Natural Foot Stance which allows for better balance and less effort due to the feet positioned in a slightly abducted stance. Nordica also uses their HP Slide in and Polyether Bi-Injected Shell that makes this boot as easy to get on and off as any boot out there. The Hot Rod 80 is designed for women who are searching for an easy fitting and skiing boot that is also high quality. It is best suited for entry level to intermediate level skiers who are just as concerned about how the boot performs on the hill as it does while sitting on the sun deck waiting for the family. Due to the quality of the boot and the Natural Foot Stance this could be the boot that quickly helps women progress to the next level. Works well with insteps of all heights and C-E width feet.

This women’s ski boot is measured in mondo point sizing. The easiest way to determine your size is to look at the chart below. Locate your regular shoe size and look down to determine your boot size.
Let’s use the mondo size 23.5 for example. To translate that to a US women’s size, add the 2 and 3 together to get 5. Then place the .5 behind it. The result is a 5.5. The 5.5 is actually a men’s size since mondo translates directly to men’s sizing, in order to translate to a woman’s, 1 full size must be added. Therefore a woman’s 6.5 is relatively a 23.5 mondo size. We also need to remember that skiers typically wear a ski boot that is one size smaller than their regular shoe. That means a women with a 7.5 shoe will typically wear a 23.5 ski boot.
