The RS 140 is designed from the same stance as the ultra-successful World Cup Race boot, the RL2006. The stance is designed to put the skier in a modern, efficient, neutral and upright stance. This boot is as close as you can get to the true “plug” boot without having to spend hours in the boot shop grinding and fitting. It is best suited for the highest end skiers who are looking for nothing but the highest level of performance. It will work great for racers, ski instructors, and master’s racers looking for that close to foot, balanced fit. The instep of the RS 140 is slightly lower than Lange’s of the past but there is also less shape to the medial wall making it feel higher to many skiers.

The Surefoot RS 120 SC is simply a shorter version of the RS 120. The short cuff enables this boot to work great for high level expert women skiers, guys with shorter legs who need the benefit of a shorter cuff, and high level junior racers who are not quite ready for the taller version. Although shorter this boot has all the power and performance characteristics of the higher cuff version. By allowing more room around the calf and fitting the lower leg length of a shorter person better, this boot is an uncompromising fit for those who have had to use heel lifts or buckle extenders in the past. The neutral, balanced stance makes it easier for skiers to stay centered and powerful while skiing. The 97mm last will fit narrower width feet best but has proven very versatile fitting wider feet with a little work.

The RX 130 LV has been out for a couple seasons and has skyrocketed to the top of the best performing boots. This boot keeps it simple with a great stance, incredible fit and a responsive powerful feel that gives everything an expert skier could want. The Surefoot Contoura Custom Liner provides a fit and performance level that cannot be beat. Lange has built this boot on the same 97mm last as the RS 140 resulting in better feel and performance while skiing. The RX 130LV certainly delivers. The “New” Surefoot Hell & Back comes with the Surefoot Contoura Custom Liner and requires the use of a proper Custom Ski Orthotic. Nordica has designed this new shell out a 3-piece design. This design will make it much easier for skiers to get the boots on and off. Once it’s buckled up and ready to go the features and design of the boot will allow it to perform just as well as any other in a similar category. This boot also has a Hike/Walk mode that allows it to stand upright and therefore makes it extremely easy to cross that sometimes treacherous parking lot. The Hike mode can also be used to simply give the quads a rest while in the lift line or even used by side country skiers boot packing Dutches out the Canyons gate. The Hell & Back is equivalent to about a 100 to 110 flex and will work great for intermediate to lower level lightweight expert skiers. This shell was designed by using a high tech 3-D imaging system to map thousands of skier’s feet. The result is an average foot position built into a very anatomical 102mm last. The Super Blaster 120 has the unique characteristic of being extremely comfortable for a very wide range of feet, but still manages to ski great due to the very anatomical shape of the shell. It comes with great features such as a climbing mode that engages when the second buckle down from the top is unbuckled. It allows the cuff of the boot to stand up straight.
