The Sole Sister. There are a lot of women out there who have found great comfort and performance in the 3 piece boot designs of the past. It is back. The 99mm last and women’s anatomic liner provides a great fit for the women with the narrow to average width foot. The 3 piece design allows for a boot that is very easy to get in and out off. The #6 medium flex tongue and the low flex point provide a great natural flex for women. The result is a smooth flexing boot that fits and looks great. The Sole Sister will work great for many women. It provides a great fit for women with narrow to average width feet and provides performance in the park, groomers and big mountain.
This women’s ski boot is measured in mondo point sizing. The easiest way to determine your size is to look at the chart below. Locate your regular shoe size and look down to determine your boot size.
Mondo size can be converted to US women’s sizes fairly easily. To translate that to a US women’s size, add the 2 and 3 together to get 5. Then place the .5 behind it. The result is a 5.5. The 5.5 is actually a men’s size since mondo translates directly to men’s sizing, in order to translate to a woman’s, 1 full size must be added. Therefore a woman’s 6.5 is relatively a 23.5 mondo size. We also need to remember that skiers typically wear a ski boot that is one size smaller than their regular shoe. That means a women with a 7.5 shoe will typically wear a 23.5 ski boot.
