The Kyra 85 is geared toward intermediate to advanced female skiers seeking the best blend of versatility and fit for great performance all over the mountain. Its 3 Piece Cabrio design includes a ski/walk mode, and provides responsive, consistent flex, with superior lateral and rearward support. A 102mm Contour 4 last allows for a close, anatomic fit, while mitigating the hot-spots many skiers encounter. All Kyra models incorporate Dalbello’s women’s specific expandable cuff, with up to 5 cm of adjustability to accommodate any size calf. A modern, Center Balanced “Rocker” Stance centers the skier over the sweet spot of the ski, for more power and control with less effort. Trufit Sport innerboots provide enduring comfort and warmth.
This women’s ski boot is measured in mondo point sizing. The easiest way to determine your size is to look at the chart below. Locate your regular shoe size and look down to determine your boot size.
Mondo size can be converted to US women’s sizes fairly easily. To translate that to a US women’s size, add the 2 and 3 together to get 5. Then place the .5 behind it. The result is a 5.5. The 5.5 is actually a men’s size since mondo translates directly to men’s sizing, in order to translate to a woman’s, 1 full size must be added. Therefore a woman’s 6.5 is relatively a 23.5 mondo size. We also need to remember that skiers typically wear a ski boot that is one size smaller than their regular shoe. That means a women with a 7.5 shoe will typically wear a 23.5 ski boot.
