The outer mold of the Garmont Shaman may remind you of a very successfull race boot of the past.  Garmont has made some great changes to the last that make this an incredible fitting 98mm ski boot.  The Shaman comes pre puched in the navicular bone, (the small bone under your inside ankle bone), and the 6th toe. These 2 small tweaks combine nicely and the result is an incredible fit.  To compliment the fit, Garmont also makes this boot with 2 sets of soles that are easily changed.  1 for alpine skiing, and 1 very grippy sole for Alpine Touring.  There is also a great cut out under the sole of the boot that makes walking on rocks much easier. The Shaman is for the expert skier looking for a boot that can go from the resort to slack country without missing a turn.  If you think the Duke binding is for you, then so is this boot.

The Factor is the stiffest Freeride boot in the BD line.   It has the power of an alpine boot, but the versatility of a touring boot. The Factor comes in at a 130 flex which enables it to turn the widest of skis and helps to provide more comfort while skiing those big lines.  It comes with a Power Fit Liner and the boa closure system that wraps the liner around your lower leg.  Add the Surefoot Ski Orthotic to increase the comfort and performance of this boot.
